The new 41 – simply tangential
From 1 June 2026, the new bus route 41 will link Waldhof railway station with Feudenheim, thereby creating, for the first time, an efficient cross-district link in the north and east of Mannheim. This means fewer changes, more direct routes – and more time for what really matters.
Line 41: Feudenheim – Waldhof Bf (Railway Station)

Across the city – without any detours
The new route 41 is a key component of the City of Mannheim’s Mobility Master Plan. Passengers benefit from:
- more direct routes,
- optimal connections to numerous rnv rail services,
- significantly shorter journey times.
This creates new, convenient direct connections, for example between Wallstadt and Franklin, and between Franklin and Waldhof. Mobility is thus not only faster, but also significantly more comfortable.
Complemented by fips – flexible travel
The new tangential line is perfectly complemented by fips, rnv’s flexible, personalised passenger shuttle service. In the north of Mannheim, fips will in future operate within an adapted service area and be fully integrated into the traditional public transport network.
These modern electric vehicles fill gaps in the service, provide connections to buses and trains, and operate on routes precisely where there are no regular services.
The result: an even denser, better-connected transport network for Mannheim. Simply hop on and arrive.
