Closure of the Steigerweg

Due to roadworks, Steigerweg will be closed to traffic heading out of town from around 3 am on Thursday 2 July until approximately 7 pm on Tuesday 7 July 2026.

Line 28

• Shortened route between Schwimmbad and Boxbergring
• Diversion in the direction of Mombertplatz between Weststadt/Südstadt S-Bahn station and Steigerweg via Am Götzenberg
• The following stops are not served: Alois-Link-Platz, Fernheizwerk, Louise-Ebert-Zentrum, Buchwaldweg and Mombertplatz

Line 39

• Shortened route between Bismarckplatz and Kohlhof-Fachklinik
• Diversion in the direction of Königstuhl between Kaiserstraße and Bierhelderhof, and a shortened route to Kohlhof-Fachklinik
• The following stops are omitted: Steigerweg, Rohrbacher Grenzweg, Speyerer Hof, Kühruhweg, Sternwarte and Königstuhl
• The Alois-Link-Platz stop will serve as a replacement stop on Rohrbacher Straße
