Changes to services due to the closure of the Gaisberg Tunnel

Due to construction work, the Gaisberg Tunnel will be closed to traffic from Tuesday 29 September to Thursday 1 October 2026, each night from around 8.30 pm until around 5 am the following day. This will affect rnv bus routes 20, 31, 36 and M5.

Line 20

• Diversion in the direction of S-Bf Altstadt between Seegarten and Neckarmünzplatz
• The following stops will be omitted: Gaisbergstraße, Friedrich-Ebert-Platz, Peterskirche, Oberer Fauler Pelz and Rathaus/Bergbahn
• Additional stops at Bismarckplatz, Jubiläumsplatz, Stadthalle, Marstallstraße and Alte Brücke

Lines 31 and M5

• Diversion in the direction of S-Bf Altstadt between Gaisbergstraße and S-Bf Altstadt
• The following stops will be omitted: Friedrich-Ebert-Platz and Peterskirche
• Additional stops at Jubiläumsplatz, Stadthalle, Marstallstraße, Alte Brücke and Neckarmünzplatz

Route 36

• Diversion towards Ziegelhausen Köpfel between Bismarckplatz and Neckarmünzplatz
• The following stops are omitted: Gaisbergstraße, Friedrich-Ebert-Platz, Peterskirche, Oberer Fauler Pelz and Rathaus/Bergbahn
• Additional stops at Jubiläumsplatz, Stadthalle, Marstallstraße and Alte Brücke
