New route network
The reopening of the Konrad-Adenauer Bridge to light rail services from 1 June 2026 will bring significant improvements for our passengers in Mannheim and Ludwigshafen. Some route patterns will be adjusted. There will also be changes in Heidelberg and to the fips service. Due to construction work, there will be temporary restrictions.

- Route 4/4A: Return to the regular route via the Konrad-Adenauer Bridge
- Line 6/6A: new route via the Konrad-Adenauer Bridge and on to Oppau Fritz-Haber-Straße (BASF Gates 12+13) in Ludwigshafen; in future, trains will replace the night bus service to Oppau during the evening and night hours
- Line 7: Running continuously again between Mannheim and Ludwigshafen; new route in Ludwigshafen to Rheingönheim Neubruch
- Line 9X: Return to the regular service, including on weekdays; will in future stop at the Berliner Platz Süd stop (LU Mitte station) instead of directly at Berliner Platz
