Supervisory Board
As a limited liability company with more than 2,600 employees, rnv has a Supervisory Board with equal representation in accordance with the German Co-Determination Act.
The Supervisory Board primarily has an advisory, supervisory and controlling function. The Board also monitors comprehensive risk management, which serves to protect the company and its shareholders. The tasks of the Supervisory Board also include the appointment of the managing directors. The Supervisory Board of rnv is currently chaired by Raoul Schmidt-Lamontain, Mayor for Climate Protection, Environment and Mobility. The Supervisory Board has equal representation, with ten representatives each from the shareholder and employee sides, including three trade union representatives, as required by the German Co-Determination Act for the size of the company.
