Point work at Tattersall

Due to track renewal works in the Kaiserring area, the Tattersall stop will be closed to light rail services from Monday 9 November until, it is expected, Friday 13 November 2026. This will affect services on light rail lines 1, 6/6A and 9X. There will be route changes on lines 1 and 6/6A, and a replacement bus service (SEV) will operate between the MA Hauptbahnhof and Technische Hochschule stops. At the same time, the existing diversions from the previous construction phase will be lifted.
- Regular service at the Kunsthalle stop
- Temporary closure of the Tattersall stop
- No direct connection from Rheinau, Neuostheim and Neuhermsheim to Mannheim city centre
- Tram services will be diverted and will change route – please also note this for journeys to and from the city centre
- Line 1 Rheinau Bf – Technische Hochschule (continues as Line 6/6A towards Neuostheim/SAP Arena S-Bf)
- Line 1 Schönau – Marktplatz (continues as Line 6/6A towards Oppau)
- Line 6 Neuostheim – Planetarium (continues as Line 1 via Technische Hochschule to Rheinau Bf)
- Line 6A SAP Arena S-Bf – Planetarium (continues as Line 1 via Technische Hochschule to Rheinau Bf)
- Line 6/6A Oppau – MA Hauptbahnhof (continues as Line 1 to Schönau via Kunsthalle, Wasserturm, Strohmarkt and Paradeplatz (Platform C))
- Line 9X Bad Dürkheim Bf – MA Hauptbahnhof

- Service to the tram stops Krappmühlstraße, Kopernikusstraße and Tattersall (temporary stop) via SEV
Coming from Rheinau Bf
- From the Technische Hochschule stop, the service continues via the Planetarium stop as Line 6 to Neuostheim or Line 6A to Neuhermsheim SAP Arena S-Bf
Coming from the direction of Schönau
- From the Marktplatz stop, a diversion via the Paradeplatz stop (platform D), Wasserturm and MA Hauptbahnhof
- From MA Hauptbahnhof, continue as line 6/6A to Ludwigshafen Oppau
- No service to the Paradeplatz (Platform B), Schloss and Universität stops
- Additional stops at Paradeplatz (Platform D), Strohmarkt, Wasserturm and Kunsthalle
Line 6/6A
- SEV service between the Technische Hochschule and MA Hauptbahnhof stops via Möhlstraße
- Stops at Wasserturm, Kunsthalle, Tattersall (temporary stop), Werderstraße, Pestalozzischule and Weberstraße via SEV
Coming from Neuostheim or Neuhermsheim via SAP Arena S-Bahn station
- From the Planetarium stop, continues as Line 1 towards Rheinau Bf via Technische Hochschule
Coming from the direction of LU Oppau
- From the MA Hauptbahnhof stop, continue as Line 1 to Schönau via Kunsthalle, Wasserturm and Paradeplatz (Platform C)
Line 9X
- Shortened route between Bad Dürkheim Bf and MA Hauptbahnhof
- No service to the stops Tattersall, Werderstraße, Pestalozzischule, Weberstraße, Planetarium and Luisenpark/Technoseum
- Passengers travelling towards Luisenpark/Technoseum: SEV between MA Hauptbahnhof and Technische Hochschule. From there, continue on Line 6 towards Neuostheim, or Line 6A towards SAP Arena S-Bf, to Technoseum Süd.
