Road closure between Viernheim and Weinheim

Due to engineering works, the rnv railway line between Viernheim Station and Weinheim Blumenstraße will be closed to rail traffic during the evening and night-time hours from Monday 22 June, at around 9 pm, until Tuesday, 23 June 2026, at around 4 am, due to construction work.

• Shortened route from Mannheim to Viernheim Bf, and from Heidelberg to Blumenstraße
• The stops at Viernheim Ost, Walter-Gropius-Allee and Freiburger Straße will not be served
• Rail replacement service (SEV) between Viernheim station and Blumenstraße

• Stops served: Viernheim Station (platform for Line 612), Viernheim Ost (temporary stop on Weinheimer Straße), Walter-Gropius-Allee (temporary stop under the bridge), Freiburger Straße and Blumenstraße
• Transfer between train and bus at the Viernheim Bf and Blumenstraße stops
