Shuttle service to the film festival

From Wednesday 19 August to Sunday 6 September 2026, this year’s German Film Festival will take place on Parkinsel in Ludwigshafen. To make it easier for visitors to get to and from the festival, Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH (rnv) is running additional buses on route E.
- Runs daily from around 1.00 pm until around 12.30 am the following day (except on 31 August and 3 and 9 September, when it runs until around 11.00 pm)
- Services run every 20 minutes

- Stops served: Berliner Platz (LU Mitte station), Walzmühle and Filmfestival
Towards Berliner Platz (LU Mitte station)
- Stops served: Filmfestival, Paul-Klee-Straße, Walzmühle, Rhein-Galerie and Berliner Platz (LU Mitte station)
Alternative travel options
Passengers travelling to and from the Film Festival can use bus route 77 as well as the E bus route. This service runs every 20 minutes from around 12.45 pm.
