Construction work between Weststadt and Rohrbach

From Saturday, 28 March, until probably Sunday, 21 June 2026, several construction projects will be carried out on the infrastructure in Weststadt and Rohrbach. This will result in changes to services on rnv tram lines 23 and 24 and rnv bus line 28 in several phases.

Phase 1 – 28 March to 12 April

Line 22

• Diversion in both directions between the depot (platform A or B) and Bismarckplatz
• HD Hauptbahnhof, Stadtwerke, Stadtbücherei and Seegarten stops will not be served
• Additional service to the stops Depot (towards Bismarckplatz), Volkshochschule, Campus Bergheim and Altes Hallenbad

Line

• Shortened route between Bismarckplatz and Stadtbücherei, continuing from there as line 24 to Heiligenbergschule
• Römerkreis Süd and Christuskirche stops omitted
• Service to stops from S-Bf Weststadt/Südstadt to Leimen Friedhof via rail replacement service (SEV line 23)

Line 24

• Shortened route between Heiligenbergschule and Stadtwerke, from there diversion to Bismarckplatz
• Römerkreis Süd and Christuskirche stops cancelled
• Additional service to the stops Stadtbücherei, Seegarten (in the direction of Bismarckplatz) and Bismarckplatz
• Service to stops from S-Bf Weststadt/Südstadt to Rohrbach Süd via rail replacement service (SEV line 23)

• Change between bus and train at the Seegarten stop

Deviating route valid from 30 March to 12 April

• Diversion in the direction of Schwimmbad between S-Bahn station Weststadt/Südstadt and Rudolf-Diesel-Straße
• Bergfriedhof, Feuerbachstraße and Gleisdreieck stops not served
• Service at the S-Bf Weststadt/Südstadt stop (deviating to platform C) in Franz-Knauff-Straße

Phase 2 – 13 April to 3 May

• Shortened route between Bismarckplatz and Ortenauer Straße
• Service to stops from Rohrbach Markt to Leimen Friedhof via rail replacement service (SEV line 23)
