Changes to bus services to prevent heat-related track damage

Due to the high temperatures forecast, numerous bus routes in Heidelberg are being diverted to prevent damage to the tram tracks. From 12 noon on Wednesday 29 July, there will therefore be changes to services on several rnv bus routes until further notice.
The diversions are not shown on rnv’s digital information channels. Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH (rnv) therefore asks its passengers to pay attention to the information displayed at stops and to allow extra time for their journey.

Towards Sportzentrum Nord
Diversion between Friedrich-Ebert-Platz and Jahnstraße
Service will operate via the temporary stops at the kerb and the HD Hauptbahnhof stop, platform K (Tourist Information)
The ‘Betriebshof’ stop is not in service
Towards S-Bf Altstadt
Diversion between Jahnstraße and Gaisbergstraße
Service will operate via the temporary stops at the kerb and the HD Hauptbahnhof stop, platform P
