Why is Diversity Important to Us?
We are proud of our workforce, which could not be more colourful and diverse with 2,600 employees from almost 50 nations, as well as of our customers, passengers and fellow human beings.
If we want to master the social and professional challenges of the future, we can only do so if we look at problems from different perspectives in order to find the best solutions. This is another reason why rnv values and promotes a diverse workforce. Diversity does not only affect minorities. We are all different and have our own strengths and weaknesses. The entire workforce therefore benefits from diversity-related measures.

Where Do We Want to Go?
- We utilise the diversity of people and perspectives in the company as a strategic success factor and become a pioneer in the metropolitan region.
- We exchange ideas with local authorities and other companies and implement joint projects (diversity cooperation).
- We break down stereotypes and prejudices and are available as a point of contact for problems and conflicts.
- We live an open, appreciative corporate culture. This is tangible and becomes visible through role models at all levels.
A Look at Our Projects
Numerous projects in the area of diversity and inclusion have already been successfully implemented. These include the implementation of integration projects with refugees in the transport service and people with intellectual disabilities in the technical areas, as well as participation in the Christopher Street Day parade and rnv's own demographic model for older employees aged 55 and over.
